 DNA contamination or not? after Nucleospin II DNA removal kit Hello everybody! I proceeded my samples through Nucleospin II DNA removal kit to get pure RNA. Then I designed primers for rat p53 and checked for DNA presence in my samples with PCR. The length of my PCR products is 250 bp which I should not see after DNA removal...But! I got another light bands on 50 bp on gel electrophoresis. What can it be, please? Some samples show even lighter bands on 250 bp which perhaps means DNA contamination.
