| Hi! I'm implementing a program, which calculates the annealing temperature of an oligo (4 different methods). Since you can use it for PCR reactions, I want to give a choice of common Polymerases (Taq, Proof Reading, Pfu) to put automatically the right salt concentrations. Since I use most of the time Qiagen Taq Master Mix and Invitrogen's Thermal Ace, I would like to know what is used in other labs. Some feedback would be nice Stefanie |

| Hi here is a good guide on polymerases: http://www.pcrstation.com/pcr-polymerases/ However for specific polymerases I use Promegas Taq as its cheap and pretty good. For error and proof reading I would use a better version such as a Gold or proof reading one. |
