| I am looking to do some long-range PCRs (5-30kB) of mouse genomic DNA and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on the most robust and cost-efficient brand of long-range PCR? I have heard that Roche's "Expand" works well, but want to see if there are other suggestions out there... Or do I even need to buy a special kit? Perhaps as long as there's some proofreading enzyme in there and I alter the cycling conditions, I'll get good results?? Thanks! |
