| Does anyone have any thoughts on possible reaction conditions, current density, liklihood of electrolytic reduction of sulfonate esters, sulfonamides to hydrocarbon? Would benzylchloroformate protection of an amine prior to ester formation be required or would it be possible to rely on the alkyln hydrolysis of the amide to regenerate the amine after hypothetical electro reduction of the ester? -- Paul J.
