 Rebeca Castro I live in Laredo, Texas a border city to Mexico. I have worked for 24 years for the City of Laredo Health Department Laboratory. I decided to get a MS. My thesis was to analyze the bacterial community of the Rio Grande on three specific sites using PCR 16S rRNA by DGGE. Currently, my mentor is revising my thesis draft. I decided to pursue my masters because I wanted to know more than just running tests and checking water for total and fecal coliforms. I have to inform you that the forum is so informative!. I love reading all the questions that are posted along with all the options presented as well. I learn everyday. I look forward to keep learning and sharing the new area that has been opened in our lab. They will be conducting pcr testing for food and other areas as well. The information provided by the member's questions and the answers benefits us all. Thanks.  |
