 hobbiest here im not sure what you would call me. i am currently a member of the armed forces, an airborne infantryman, re-classing into another job that better fits my abilities. my interests are in limnology, specifically(at this moment at least) in anthropogenic influences to anthropogenic lintec waters. man made influences to man made bodies of waters, over time. im that weird guy sampling drainage ditches and reservoirs just to see what is living there and what condition they are in, and asking the local farmers and civilians what pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers they use. the way i see it, humans are going to be here for a while, so we might as well learn about the influences we contribute to the lentic side of ecosystems. i call it ditch biology.   |
