Default Remove the post-count linkage limit

Hey, it would be great if we could remove the "Minimum of 15 post" requirement for hyperlinks. The idea of the WWW was that content could be linked together, and especially in the sciences does this become more useful: references. Bypassing the link filter with typed-out URLs does not really cut it, since then the information is not indexed and sometimes simply ignored. Maybe another system of making sure users can't spam is needed? Not all of us need to be punished / restricted

Hello Kanzure,
sorry but due to the popularity of this forum we have been attacked daily by spammers and advertisers of science products of all types.
This is the nature of the internet now, and we would rather post helpful comments or articles than moderate spam from advertisers or spammers.

I hope you understand, if you have any ideas on how we can improve our system please post here we love suggestions.
Maybe we can lower the post amount to 5 or 10?

Thanks!
Admin

In the blogging software world, there are some packages that allow to watch for spam attacks and prevent specific IP addresses from posting or from specific messages being posted (or specific links)- just a typical blacklist.

Also, you can place posts-with-links in a "To Be Moderated" queue instead of restricting users.
