| I have a topo clonging kit which was opened on 6/10/11. I used it for cloning and few clones. I am trying to figure out what is problem. Is it possibe the kit already expired? but I can not find the expire date from the kit. How much the old kit will affect the cloning? Thanks for reply. |

I think if the kit was stored at the correct temperature it will probably be fine. I have used enzymes that "expired" 10 years ago and they work just fine as long as they are kept at -20C. Do a test experiment with a known positive control, if that doesn't work then you know the kit is off. |
