Default Cloning two CDS with different reading frames

Hello,

I'm starting a cloning proyect in which I need to clone a gene that has a +2 reading frame and the reporter gene has a +1 frame. I'm trying to do a c-ter fusion and I don't know if there will be any problem having these coding sequences with different reading frames. What can I do to change this?

Thanks for your help,
Talin
