Smile isolation of unknown gene

Dear frnds,
i am working on insect and want to isolate Acetylcholinestrase gene from it.
My problem is ,the gene sequence of my insect is not present but the cDNA sequence from the insects of same genus is present in PubMed. Now i understand that i have to make degenerate primer for my Gene but i don't know how to proceed as the manual for forming Degenrate primer is not available .My dear freinds i need your help in this .If any one have experience in this or he/she knows any book or site through which i can understand all about the Degenrate primer it will be great help in my research.
thank you

Actually I won't really say there are no manual for it. Maybe you are looking for the exact gene... but googling it i have already found few good start

Hyden seem promising but I have not use it. Generally when I design degenerate primer it all depend on my need.
