Default Amersham ECL kit left at RT

A rotation student in my lab accidentally left out Amersham ECL kit for western blots out on his bench at room temperature over the weekend. Since then I have tried to do a western blot, and there was very little signal. Could the kit be ruined from leaving it out?

Might be. The best suggestion I can give you is to contact customer service of the kit company (Amersham) stating the problem so they can give you advice.

Good luck
