Western blotting- sparkly dots

Hi all,

This the first time I've done a western blot. when placed for detection in UVP, some how all these bright spots (on the dark background of the blot) appear. are these bubbles from the wrap? Please let me know. Thanks!

Can you please attach a picture for us to view? or link it somewhere. western blot with UVP? Or do you mean flourescene label?

I meant the western blot (supersignal western pico chemiluminiscent substrate) detection. Not the fluoroscence.

It seem like fiber or etc. Just clean the surface of the uvp before take image again.

Hi and welcome, looks like either noise from image processing or high signal due to a dirty blot (from HRP - lum).
