Western blotting- sparkly dots Hi all, This the first time I've done a western blot. when placed for detection in UVP, some how all these bright spots (on the dark background of the blot) appear. are these bubbles from the wrap? Please let me know. Thanks! |
Re: Western blotting- sparkly dots Can you please attach a picture for us to view? or link it somewhere. western blot with UVP? Or do you mean flourescene label? |
Re: Western blotting- sparkly dots 1 Attachment(s) I meant the western blot (supersignal western pico chemiluminiscent substrate) detection. Not the fluoroscence. |
Re: Western blotting- sparkly dots It seem like fiber or etc. Just clean the surface of the uvp before take image again. |
Re: Western blotting- sparkly dots http://www.molecularstation.com/foru...ts-capture-jpg Hi and welcome, looks like either noise from image processing or high signal due to a dirty blot (from HRP - lum). |
