Default Northern hybridization

Hi there!

I just wonder how people identify and mark different steady state ribosomal RNA intermediates as 47S, 45S, 32S etc...I didn't encounter molecular marker in most of articles that present results of pulse chase experiment. Is there any means of identification?

Thanks
