I have to write a list of equipment necessary for teaching molecular biology lab. below are some items I thought it may be needed. could anybody help me by addition or removing some items.
1- vertical gel electrophoresis apparatus.
2- submarine gel electrophoresis
3- PCR system
4- DNA sequencer
5- blotting system
6- spectrophotometer
7- speedvac centrifuge
8- cooling centrifuge
9- gel documentation system
10- HPLC
11- incubator
12- deep-freezer -80
13- ice maker
14- laminar flow cabinet
15- fixed, variable, multichannel automatic micropippets.
16- vortex.
17- fluorescent microscope

you should include the following items:
1. thermal block
2. water bath incubator
3. microfuge
4. minifuge
5. shaking incubator
6. fumehood
7. PCR hood (not crucial)
8. pipettes
9. MilliQ water system
10. hotplate with stirrer
11. pH meter
12. -20C freezer
13. 4C chiller

These should complete your lab. anyway, HPLC is for applied chemistry lab.
