Default PGFE on algae

Does anyone have some experience on PFGE with algae? I'm doing PFGE with some types of algae but this is a completely new topic for me. I'm interested expecially in cell wall lysis. All suggestions or paper's citations are welcomed.
Thanks a lot in advance.
