Yeast 2 Hybrid (didn't know where to post this)
 

We are thinking of trying the Yeast 2 Hybrid technique to determine binding partners of our protein of interest. We have not done this technique before, but I don't think that is ever a reason to not do something.

Which kit seems to be the best to get started with? We are using a mouse model, and I have noticed some vendors selling pre-made libraries. Perhaps this will help us get started?

However, we are at a small University with very limited financial resources. So, any "economical suggestions" would be greatly appreciated.

I wasn't sure where to put this, so I posted this in a couple of forums. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

i use clontech y2h system......but remember whichever kit u use you are bound to deal with lot of troubleshoots.......so best of luck
