Default RNA ladder


hi.....every one .....please i need to know the differences between RNA ladder and DNA ladder. and if i can use one of them instead of other.

The RNA ladder is ordinarily single stranded whereas the DNA ladder is double stranded. Therefore you can't use them interchangeably.
If this wasn't the case I think you would be able to use them interchangeably, though I'm not sure

DNA = Double helix, whereas RNA contains uracil & is single stranded only.

RNA ladders consist of RNA fragments for sizing single-stranded RNA in glyoxal or formaldehyde agarose gels. Life Technologies supplies a wide range of RNA ladders for accurate size and mass estimations (quantitation) of RNA transcripts from 0.1 to 10 kb.[Only registered users see links. ]
