Hello, I am also new here. I am a third year neurobiopharmacologist major. My specific focus is molecular mechanisms of neural transport and detriments to such processes form such pathologies, like Alzheimers and Parkinsons disease. I am taking a semester off to recuperate from collegiate, personal and finacial pressures, but am still actively reading the literature and I post on Alzforum.org. I also review cancer letters which helps me see links between cell signaling processes, functional gene control and negative feedback loops between aberrant apoptosis and cancer---brain pathologies. What are some of your interests and backgrounds?

Hey there Jacob and Sowmanus!

I am interested as well in diseases and clinical research. Mental illnesses are very interesting.

What models do you use to study Alzheimers Jacob?
