 Re: What does it mean when the results of a test in Bergey's Manual is in brackets? Results are expressed as ranges of observations. Whereas - and + offer that 90-100% of the results where either negative or positive respectively for the test in question, brackets usually mean 11-25% of the reports were [-] or [+].  |
