Default Corynebacterium Ideal Incubation Temperatures and Thermostability

Does anyone know the ideal conditions for most corynebacterium to grow in in terms of temperature and how thermostable they are (heat resistant). Got asked by a senior engineer and cant seem to find any info in even the heaviest of the books we have here.

in ref. to your question, there are two general groups in terms of habitat - soil/plant and animal. Can you narrow it to one or the other?

Apologies, should have specified. The habitat is in animals.

No worries. Think 35C-37C is optimal for incubation. C. diphtheriae is reportedly killed at 58C for 10 minutes but some dental isolates reportedly survive at 60 and 70C. so thermostability/heat resistance might be pretty variable.

The temp varies but the average should be 58c
