| I know I want to get my PhD in microbiology, but I was wondering how useful it would be to get a second degree like a masters in biochemistry? Of course getting a PhD in the first place is not a simple task, but let's say you already have a BS in biochemistry in addition to your PhD in microbiology. Would getting a masters in biochemistry be a worthwhile endeavor or a waste of time? How about a BS in biochemistry with a PhD in microbiology...minor in biochemistry? I plan to be a microbiologist, but I would like to understand microbiology down to the molecular and chemical level. |
