| using Kriglers Iron Agar Test (KIA), motility test medium, glucose oxidative-fermentative (O/F) medium test, and oxidase tests... how do i distinguish between E.aeruogenes and E.coli as both are gram -,grow on mcconkeys agar, produce gas in KIA? and between P.alcalifaciens and S.marcenscens as they both dont grow on mcconkeys, dont produce H2S in KIA and are both motile? i have to do a practical, and these are the only tests i can use |
