 Question about Remel Hippurate Hydrolysis Test Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with a question regarding this test. We are using the Remel Hippurate Disk (REF 21085) for Campylobacter jejuni detection and it notes in the insert that "Plastic tubes should be used, as glass may yield a false-negative result." Can anyone give me a scientific explanation as to why this is so? Thank you in advance! Athena  |
