| Hi as we know that DICER enzyme act on dsRNA and make it siRNA by breaking it, i want to know why Dicer did not cut the dsRNA viruses as we know that they are lot of examples of dsRNA viruses and how they replicate inside the host that have dicer in it to cut the dsRNA. Regards aftab ahmad |

| One model says that Dicer and the RNAi machinery may have evolved in order to combat dsRNA viruses, so the viruses, in turn, have been evolving to foil Dicer.
