| Hi everyone! Happy New Year to you all!! Hope 2009 gives you all many papers! I was wondering how kanamycin resistant work? Is it same with ampicillin resistant (by secreating enzyme)? and...why are there colonies and not lawns in the plate with ampicilllin? Thanks Last edited by admin; 01-05-2009 at 12:42 PM. |

| Hello there gandalfthegrey! Happy new year to you too! Kanamycin resistance works by expressing neomycin phosphotransferase II. |
