Question Viral DNA

hI
As we know that there is strict regulation on the trafiking or movement of molecules inside and outside of cell nucleus, then how the viral DNA when gets inside the cells go to the nuclus and get into the nucleus and finally take over the cell activities and result in destruction of cells?
