Postdoctoral Position Microbiology

A postdoctoral position is available to investigate genetic,
molecular, or epidemiological aspects of oral candidiasis. The
position is located in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology,
and is sponsored by NIH programmatic funding to the University of
Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.

Candidates must be US citizens (or have a green card) and have a
Ph.D., M.D., D.D.S. or equivalent degree. Expertise in oral biology,
mycology, microbiology, or molecular biology is preferred but not
required. Successful applicants will collaborate on research
encompassing basic and/or clinical aspects of oral Candida infections
with Brian Wickes, Ph.D., (Dept. of Microbiology and Immunology) and
Spencer Redding, D.D.S. (Dept. of General Dentistry).
