Comparison among different DNA microarray systems?

Hi there,

I am asked to help decide to order a DNA microarray system/hardware for comparative genome polymorphism as well as gene expression profiling, which includes hybridization oven, scanner, etc. I don't have a lot of experience in this area, so I really appreciate any suggestion about these systems and any resources that I might be able to find this information.

Do you mean comparative genome hybridization then i dont have much idea about it.

If you are asking for a scanner which can do whole genome analysis the better go for illumina they have mazing customization arrays which would help u in ur work.

Beside illumina you have affymetrics but i dont know how is their system its true that hey have much installations but the world is turning towards illumina due to variety of applicayions they provide.
