not sure of d, possible though, in reality not the best use of money.

Hi,

We can use microarray for all the above mentioned applications, other than option D (to identify species of bacteria). We cannot exactly Identify the bacterial species, instead we can find out that how much homology the unkown bacterial bug have with other known bacterial species.

we have two microarrays tipologies, one for detect polimorphisms in the genome and the other for evaluate gene expression. the former works by injecting genomic DNA, the last by using cDNA. every chip is used for a single sample, that can be a specific cell line, tissue...
