Default Protein Micorarray

Hi
For DNA miroarray result we countercheck the results by real time PCR, so for Protein Microarray what is the key technique to counter check the results

regards
aftab

Hello Aftab,

I would check western blot of the proteins that seem to be elevated and decreased. Also, would be a good idea to western blot proteins that are not changed as internal control (check also alpha-tubulin and actin for example)

Pulse radiolabeling and IP would be most quantitative and accurate although western blotting is more common control measure for protein microarray controls.

Very good point Aftab,
thanks!
