Default Clinical use - metabolomics

Hello,

I am wondering whether metabolomics (LC-MS, GC-MS) is already used on a clinical level?
Does anyone know if there are some routine tests with this technology.

And the second question is, do you think for a clinical usability you will always need qqq machine instead od q-tof?
I am wondering if you could use qtof for clinical use by adding some standards for different group of molecules you are measuring.

kind regards,
marko
