| Hi there I am about to deplete my bovine serum samples to remove the highly abundant proteins so I can detect low abundant proteins using Mass Spec. However the buffers used in proteominer can affect trypson digest step, has anyone ever tried anything like this? And if so, what clean up step did you apply to remove buffers that could effect Mass spec? Thanks Kirsten |

| Hey, we have been doing something similar, depleting abundant proteins from human plasma samples using the Sigma ProteoPrep Immunoaffinity Depletion kit. The depleted samples underwent tryptic digestion without the need for any extra clean up steps, just a slight dilution in 50mM ammoniumbicarbonate. |
