Default QTrap 4000 - low intensities

Hello,

Been having difficulty obtaining acceptable TICs.

Using flow injection analysis on QTrap 4000 MRM for PKU testing.

Intensities at 9e5, should be ~5e6. Peak shapes good.

Lines, injector all cleaned/replaced. Metal sprayer tube changed. Autosampler needle changed. Calibrations looking fine.

Thinking it's the positioning of the metal sprayer tube.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Is that the Ionization probe that you are mentioning as "metal sprayer tube"?

Thanks.

Hi
You can contact me directly at [Only registered users see links. ], and also if you can list your parameter settings in email that you are using during mrm optimization. Please make sure to provide me with ce parameter. It looks like it requires quick optimization in order to gain intensity back.

Thanks
Sam
