Default Concentration dilution series

Hi,
Could anyne suggest, how much water shud be added to 8nano mole/10micro liter of angiotensin to make 40nano mole/ml ? I added 990micro liters of 50:50 ACN:water. But I am confused about concentration. Please confirm the dilution.
Thanks

Default Re: Concentration dilution series

If you took 10 micro L 8 nM/10 micro L and added into 990 micro L 50% ACN, then the final conc. you made was 8 nM/mL instead of 40 nM/mL you wanted. So you may have to take 50 micro L 10 micro L 8 nM/10 micro L and added into 950 micro L 50% ACN to get final 40 nM/mL. See if you agree?
