Default Thermo Electron Company. FORMA -86 C freezer

I am so incredibly fed up with this freezer! Every time I open it, even for two seconds, it won't let me open it again for 15-20 min! This has been the worst freezer we have ever purchased. The top vent constantly freezes and needs to be freed from -20oC ice with a pick. Both the compressor and the condenser motor had to be replaced within a couple of years of buying these freezers (we bought 2) at a cost of thousands of dollars. Does anyone have such an awful experience with these or are we the only ones with lemons?
