Essential Lab Equipment Check-list for New Lab
 

I am hoping of opening up a lab someday just like many here. Please come up with a checklist of all the essential lab equipment most labs should have...
I can start with a few


* computers
* centrifuges ( 1 cooled 1 tabletop 1 micro)
* PCR machine
* shaker (orbital)
* incubator (bacterial plate incubator and for yeast also)
* Bacterial (yeast) culture incubator (for flasks)
* Shelving for chemicals (chemicals included)

obviously plastics

* eppendorf tubes
* glassware beakers

Hi
when you perform microbial work then beside the above mentioned apparatus you also need a autoclave (Benchtop for single lab) and an oven to sterilize the media and all other necessary apparatus....
need to add more.........

I am setting up a Mol Bio Lab and this is a list of somethings I came up with:
