2. supercomputers with peripherals/LIMS 3. a friend to ask dumb questions to e.g. where's the yellow`tips, who used all the yellow tips and did not fill them up, can't we just use this big bag of yellow tips, who do we order the yellow tips from, when are the yellow tips coming, we can just use blue tips for now, right... ![]() 4. eye wash bottle and those cool little shoe covers 5. spray bottle with ethanol [whoosh, whoosh] and decent paper towels. |

| Starting a lab can be expensive. I have spent a lot of money on my new lab. We were spending a lot on supplies like equipment and supplies until I found out about Gorilla Scientific. They are cheaper than everybody! I recommend that you check them out |

| The implen nanophotometer is a good spec to start with in a new lab. It does small volumes like Nanodrop but also does cuvettes. You dont' need a computer or anything which is cool. The no maintenance thing is really nice since all the labs that have nanodrop either pay a fortune or don't get maintenance (totally unreliable results). |
