What equipment and chemicals and reagents are needed to set up lab for HIVHBVHCV,CMV tests. Can I have protocols too

Hi
well it depends on the level of test you want to perform. the test could be ELISA based and also PCR based and there is huge varity of PCR protocols, as earlier simple PCR was used for qualitative test but now Real Time PCR is being used for the test.
and if you want to detect all these viruses in single PCR reaction then you have to devleop Multiplex PCR protocol.
in addition it is also important that you should have at least biosafty level II lab for these test, but for virology lab it is recomended that it should be Level III.
in short it mainly depends on level of expansis you want to make and level of test you want to perform
but the main instruments that are required are ELISA, and PCR.
