Unhappy Magnetic beads ruined from room temperature??

Oh no!

I forgot my magnetic beads slurry (CoIP kit from Active Motif) on my lab bench over the week-end... Normally, they should be stored in 4ºC. Are my beads ruined and damaged now? Can I still use them for running my IP's?

Please help!

Thank you in advance.

/Susanna

Susanna I have also worked with ChiP-IT by Active Motif, though I have not left them on the bench over the weekend :P ChiP-IT uses G-protein magnetic beads and most likely every other IP kit from ActiveMotif( though I can be wrong ). If I were you I would check how sensitive in protein G to degradation.

OK... but how do I do that? Are there databases for that sort of information. I guess I should not ask the supplier or Active Motif, since I reckon they will want be to buy more, and buy more, and buy.... :-)

Best
