Co-Immunoprecipitation Co-IP Problems
 

Hey dudes,

when i do co-ip experiments, I use normal mouse igG as the negative control, but surprisingly, my protein of interest was immunoprecipitated with normal mouse igG!

any ideas why?

hey tony,
have you thought of non specific interactions that may competing with your protein of interest?
do you have detergent in your incubation and wash buffer? maybe you could also increase the concentration in salts?
