| I am trying to stain cells in matrigel 3 dimensional cultures for E_Cadherin and prostate specific membrane antigen. I fix my cultures ( Cells and matrigel) in formalin then embed them in OCT(Optimum cutting temperatur) making frozen sections from them. If I stain do I need to retrieve the antigen by heating in Citrate solution or not. Thanks, Last edited by admin; 02-06-2009 at 05:27 AM. Reason: no emails please |

| After fixing in formalin, you will might need antigen retrieval, but not necessarily. |
