Antibody for Melanin detection Hi, I need to identify melanin particles (with high accuracy and resolution) in human skin using confocal microscopy . I tried reflectance mode but it hardly could be identified in this mode becuase I have a lot of bright dots in images 9I am using cadavar skin tissue not fresh). So, I am thinking about using flourescence mode for detecting melanins. But I don't know if does the melanin flouresce (some papers say yes, some say no)? If it doesn't, is there any specific antibody for melanin that I could apply to detect melanin with high resolution and accuracy? I am a researcher with engineering background, so any idea about anything in this area are welcome and much appreciated. P.S. Does "particle" suits melanin?! Thank you in advance for your help. |
