| Hello everyone, I apologize in advance if I'm posting in the wrong forum, I'm new here... Anyway, I really need some help and guidance on selectively staining mitochondria in human brain, rabbit and rat heart sections (fixed paraffin sections). I'm interested in a good method that isn't too complicated. I can't use immunohistochemical techniques at this point, so I'm thinking about just chemical stains. I've read about Cain's method, but it doesn't seem very selective and I'm wondering if there's anything better. Also if anyone knows about a publication/reference that compares the effectiveness of various mitochondrial stains, that would be really awesome.. Thanks for reading, and please help out.. |
