Human Genome Project Recent Discoveries

I'm new to this forum, but I think I came to the right the place :D.

I need a little bit help with the actual develops of the HGP. Could someone please tell me how the Human Genome Project is nowadays, what are we doing with de discodification, what beneficts can it bring? And can you point me some recent discoveries please. I'm tired of searching on the net over and over and nothing, so I'm hoping someone here could help me.
