| Umm I will now ask a question which you may think its dumb, but I have to. They say atoms are basic units for everything, and I know cells are the units of life. So is atoms made up of cells, or are cells made up of atoms? If the first is correct, are atoms plants or animals? And if the second is correct, what kind of atom are we? compunds? Elements? Mixtures? Hope you can solve my problems. Thanks |

| cells are made up of atoms but atoms combine together to form compounds some of which are quite complex ( eg DNA, RNA,ATP etc) and inside the cell is a complex mix of all these |
