Default Method of operation

Pipettes are a laboratory tool used to measure and transport liquids. Pipettes are mostly used in the fields of molecular biology, analytical chemistry and also for medical research works. The common working principal is sucking the required liquid quantity by creating vacuum and then releasing it at desired place in desired quantity by reversing this vacuum.

These instruments work on two methods. One is Air Displacement method in which liquid is sucked and released by creating and reversing vacuum. The positive displacement type devices are designed such that the liquid handling tip is separately attached and air displacement plunger is common.
