 260/280 ratio very high in RNA extraction Hi,I extract RNA with Qiagen kit. I measure the conc. in nanodrop and then see the quality in Bioanalyzer. I get very good quality of RNA, totally intact rRNA. One thing I don't understand is that the ratio of 260/280 I get in nanodrop is always very high such as 2.3-2.5 and the other is even higher. I don't know how that happens. what is the significance of this high ratio? thank you very much for the answers  |
