Default Interested in writing about science?

Hi everybody.

I'm one of the organisers of the Molecular and Cellular Biology project on Wikipedia. We are a group of about 150 editors who are trying to improve the quality and coverage of the science articles in this encyclopedia. This is pretty important, as Wikipedia is normally the first stop for members of the public looking to find out about a scientific topic - these articles can get thousands of readers every day.

If any people here are interested in helping out with this and think they could write about their areas of expertise in Wikipedia, please drop by our project and sign up. Our page is the top hit on Google for "molecular wikiproject"

Hope to see people there!

All the best

Hello Tim,
thanks for joining the forums!

We pay students and users of our forums for every large unique article they submit to Molecular Station.

Also due to the fact that we also have a wikipedia on molecular biology, many of our users can add small amounts of information by editing topics there.

Cheers

Hello Aftab,
Molecular Station pays for detailed protocols, bioinformatics, tutorials on using equipment/conducting protocols, history on techniques, science news writing, anything related to those topics.

There are several members including myself, moleculardude and others writing and making money by learning. You can also submit essays on molecular biology topics you have done.

We all benefit by sharing. The advertisements cover not only our hosting costs, domain costs and other costs (purchasing software) due to our high traffic, but also the hiring of authors and the dissemination of more information for all students and researchers to benefit.

If you are interested please pm me
thanks
