ABSTRACT: A rapid, sensitive and very specific high-performance liquid
chromatographic (HPLC) method is described for the reliable and
selective quantitation of oxytocin using culture media supernatants.
The isocractic procedure employs solid phase extraction, antibody-
based immunoaffinity purification and dual channel coulometric
electrochemical detection (ECD). The lower limit of detection for this
octapeptide was 40 picograms (40 fmol) on column. Due to its relative
simplicity, specificity and precision, the HPLC-ECD of oxytocin is an
accurate and attractive alternative to many existing quantitative
methods.

phase e con una colonna sferisorb da 5 micron utilizzando 50/50
acetonitrile/H20. Flusso 1,0 e lunghezza d'onda a 254 nmetri ( se hai
piccole quantità, fai uno spettro UV e seleziona l'opportuna lunghezza
d'onda )
