Guava HT Flow Cytometry

Hi There,

I am currently working with the new Guava 8HT EasyCyte Flow cytometer, I have no previous experience in flow cytometry and I was just wondering is there anyone out there that has used this type of instrument before and what they think of it, is there any good literature out there for it?

Or any advice in general...

Hi Sonja,

First i'm sorry for my English...i'm french !!!!!

I have worked with the IMV version of Guava "EasyCyte Plus"....i don't know if it's the same that yours...

To my mind it's (not so far) a good cytometer...it's depand of your applications....if i have to use 3 colors with blue laser it will be ok...

I'm not fan about the "capilarity" system. your concentration have to be low and you can't analyse with normal-hight fluidique speed...

But it's only my opinion...

I have tested the C6....and i love it !

Hi Sonja! Im in your same situation. I started using the same equipment just one month ago, I used a few times FACS Calibur before the guava and I think Guave is very friendly in comparition but my boss think that the graphics don't look so pretty. I also would like to read a little bit more about.

Hi there ..here we have a Guava easycyte mini, but i would like to compare the filter differences between IMV guava, it seems that red in IMV is different, ours is 675-680.
